Update: The article previously stated that the latest update brings game streaming to Windows 10 Mobile. However, as it turns out, that’s not entirely the case and you can’t stream Xbox games to Windows 10 Mobile just yet.

The Xbox app on Windows 10 Mobile build 10166 has just received a huge update in the store bringing with it a refined design and some new features. We haven’t been able to test out some of its features due to lacking an Xbox One at the moment, but for those who do, it should be a fairly big one.

From the changelog:

  • Stream games from your Xbox One (for PCs)
  • See a list of all your games
  • Share game clips and screenshots on Xbox live
  • More info on game hubs
  • Bug and performance fixes

ThisĀ  update brings the Xbox and Windows Mobile platforms closer together than they have ever been before. It’s also worth nothing that the Xbox app now officially supersedes the old games app with this update, now listing your installed games within the app just like its predecessors.
