Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5 Launches May 28 with NieR: Automata Crossover and More

On May 28, 2025, Call of Duty: Mobile will release Season 5, titled “Primal Reckoning,” introducing a host of new features and a collaboration with NieR: Automata.

The update brings the Zoo multiplayer map, a medium-sized battleground set in an abandoned zoo, originally featured in Black Ops. Players can also access Buy Stations in Battle Royale mode, allowing them to purchase items using in-game currency obtained from eliminated enemies.

A new Battle Pass offers Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, and other rewards, all themed around a futuristic dystopia inspired by NieR: Automata. The collaboration includes a themed event featuring the Kui Ji – YoRHa No. 9 Type S operator and two Draws with operators Kestrel – YoRHa No. 2 Type B and Fiona St. George – Commander White.

Players can also wield the new VMP SMG and apply new skins to their Combat Axe and Smoke Grenade. The update also introduces a free legendary AK-47 with a special inspection animation.
