After weeks of speculation and reports that indicated that this year’s Call of Duty would be Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Activision has officially confirmed it (via Kotaku).
Black Ops 4, developed by Treyarch, will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 12, 2018. A community reveal event will take place on May 17.
No other information has been revealed at this time, but a short teaser video was posted on Twitter that gives players a glimpse at what they can expect. If previous reports are to be believed, it will be set in modern times but with toned-down sci-fi elements.
Forget what you know.

What do you think about its logo? Do you feel Roman numerals would have been better than what appears to be tally marks? Let us know in the comments.
