Update: Call of Duty: Ghosts is backward compatible as to not force rebuys.
A primary business goal of the BC program is to help 360 owners make a transition to Xbox One. One way to do that is to not force rebuys.

Out of all the games that you’d want to be backward compatible, it looks like we got one which no one wanted. Seriously though, did anyone really want Call of Duty: Ghosts? I mean, you can pick it up for $5 on Xbox One or less. Every bargain bin has a copy. Either ways, it’s backward compatible on Xbox One now so, you know, play it I guess.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is an extraordinary step forward for one of the largest entertainment franchises of all-time. This chapter in the Call of Duty franchise features a new dynamic where players are on the side of a crippled nation fighting not for freedom, or liberty, but simply to survive. Fueling this all new Call of Duty experience, the franchise’s new next-generation engine delivers stunning levels of immersion and performance, all while maintaining the speed and fluidity of 60 FPS across all platforms.
