Calibrate your HTC Diamond accelerometer

So you are playing Teeter and you notice your ball always drifting to one corner – what can you do?  An imperfectly calibrated accelerometer can affect more than your games – if can affect processes such as screen rotation and even muting your phone calls.

Fortunately HTC, with some help of XDA-Developers of course, has a solution. GsensorCallibrator is a piece of software lifted from the HTC Raphael, designed to correct mis-calibration of your accelerometer. It seemed not to save these calibrations on HTC Diamonds with earlier ROM’s, but with later releases it seems to work quite well, especially if run more than once.

If your accelerometer is wonky, download the application from this XDA-Developer thread here.
