it’s available since today, on the windows phone marketplace, the release 2.9 of Caledos Runner, the activity tracking application developed by the Caledos Lab team and integrated with the RunKeeper fitness platform.
New Features include
- A Set of pre-defined Interval Trainings
- Audio cue for the current heart rate training zone
Interval training is a type of discontinuous physical training that involves a series of low- to high-intensity exercise workouts interspersed with rest or relief periods. The high-intensity periods are typically at or close to anaerobic exercise, while the recovery periods involve activity of lower intensity.
Heart Rate Training Zone If you divide heart rate target zones by percentage of maximum heart rate, it breaks out into five zones. Each zone has different benefits. Caledos runner, starting from the maximun heart rate can tell you if you are in warm up, fitness, aerobic or anaerobic zone.
