Browser Choice Ballot Will No Longer Be Delivered To New Windows Users In EU

Browser Choice

Microsoft provided the Browser Choice update in accordance with a decision issued by the European Commission in December 2009. In EU countries, during Windows PC Setup, users were allowed to choose their browser to install. The obligations imposed by that decision have expired and as a result the Browser Choice Update will no longer be delivered to new users. Internet Explorer will be the default browser in Windows OS going forward and it will come pre-installed.
