Bin Day – Recycle with ease

We are really pleased to announce that Bin Day, our first commercial app, has just been published in the Windows Phone Marketplace.

Bin Day is a must for anyone who recycles their house hold waste. There is absolutely no question that the increase in the amount of household waste we recycle is a great thing. However, it can be a chore to remember what bin is collected on what day, especially when each type of recycling is collected on different rotations.

That’s where Bin Day can help. Simply enter the details of your bins (you can set the title, type of bin and colour), add the date of the next collection for that bin and how often its collected, for example, my brown Bottles & Cans wheelie bin is collected every 28 days. You only have to enter the detail once and from there on in Bin Day does the rest, displaying an easy to understand next pickup visual telling you what bins to put out next and when.

Localized languages currently available are US English, UK English and German, we will be adding Danish, French, Italian and Spanish in the next release.

We have plenty more planned for the next release of Bin Day and we are eager to hear your feedback on any additional features or improvements you would like to see us incorporate into Bin Day.
