Big Brother UK kicks off this summer with a new bunch of hopefuls yet again, and possibly some ex-housemates, all set to enter Britain’s most famous house. With the series launching on Tuesday, May 12th at 9 PM on Channel 5 (and 3e in Ireland) millions will be wanting to keep up to date with the latest house action. However, once again, Channel 5 has decided not to provide an official app for Windows Phone, despite catering for Android and iOS. This is where Big Brother: The App comes in.
Big Brother: The App, created by Emmet McLaughlin (@emmetmclaughlin), provides the latest news from a range of popular news outlets and Big Brother fansites for even more in depth analysis and coverage.
Aside from news, the app also provides the latest tweets from the show’s presenters, as well as up to the minute updates about the on-goings inside the house. Video clips and full episodes are also available within the app.
Schedules, Polls and “LiveLike” which allows users to vote on what they’re seeing on screen, live, with other viewers also makes a return.
The app is available to download from the Windows Phone Store by using the links below.
