Best Buy accidentally publishes advertisement with Xbox Scorpio

It looks like Project Scorpio is going to be called Xbox Scorpio. Best Buy published advertisements about the upcoming console in their newsletter. At the top, you can clearly see the news of the console, with a button asking interested viewers to Learn More. While we don’t have any way of confirming this, another source close to us said that it was going to be called Xbox One X. Maybe Best Buy is making multiple banners so that they can quickly get up the news? We don’t think so because it’s a waste of time and retailers only expend energy making promotional materials if they have concrete information.

Xbox Scorpio—or Xbox One X if that’s what it’s called—is the most powerful gaming console ever created. It features almost 2 TFLOPS more power than the PlayStation 4 Pro. For those wondering, 2 TFLOPS even more power than a standard PlayStation 4 Pro. In order to match Xbox Scorpio, Sony would have to “glue” a PlayStation 4 Pro and standard PlayStation 4 together. We don’t have any other information at this time except for some sources claiming that $499 Xbox Scorpio price is being rehearsed by Microsoft at their event. We’ll have concrete information in a few hours so be sure to check out all our stories starting at 5 PM EDT.
