DICE is making Battlefield 1’s first DLC package, They Shall Not Pass available early for Premium Pass players on Xbox One, PC, and PS4. The update should be rolled out to all Battlefield 1 owners, though gamers without a Premium Pass will have to wait until March 28th to enjoy the content.
Battlefield 1 DLC: They Shall Not Pass has four new maps, including Verdun Heights, Fort Vaux, Soissons, and Rupture. In addition, gamers get a new game mode titled Frontlines, where you can experience a mix of Conquest and Rush as you fight for chained control points in a tug-of-war frontline. Both teams fight for one flag at a time and when this objective is captured the action moves on to the next. Capture the enemy’s HQ control point and the game turns into a Rush-style section where telegraph posts need to be attacked or defended.
Tackle two new epic Operations, The Devil’s Anvil and Beyond the Marne, where you take part in massive tank battles and intense close-quarters fighting.
On top of this is new main and melee weapons, new unlocks, and the French Army.
Other upcoming expansions for the game include Battlefield 1 In the Name of the Tsar, Battlefield 1 Turning Tides, and Battlefield 1 Apocalypse. We’ll provide readers with info on those updates as they become available.
