Battle Royale game The Culling is now free on Xbox One

The Culling is one of the originators of the battle royale game genre that has made games like Fortnite and PUBG so popular. It has also just become free on Xbox One.

The Culling has suffered from a pretty harsh development cycle. While the original game was well received, the devs made multiple changes to the game which fans were unhappy with. Eventually, the game’s popularity died down.

Then, Xaviant Games released a sequel which tried hard to mimic PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. It wasn’t well received and it was removed from stores.

This version of The Culling, however, plans to revitalize the original first-person melee focused experience as the game players fell in love with originally. As a player of the original, it is a fantastic experience that you should all at least try. After all, it is free!
