Earlier today Baconit, a popular third-party Reddit client for Windows 10, today picked up small update taking it to version 4.8.17, fixing the i.redditupload picture issue.

Now a few hours later the developer Quinn has released another update, taking it to version 4.9.

The update has the following change log:

  • Bugs
    • Fixed the issue where reddit upload links fail to show (if not it will be fixed shortly)
    • Fixed the issue where some profiles won’t load
  • Xbox
    • Added a few features to make the app run smoothly on Xbox
  • Universal Markdown
    • Paul Bartum’s has done some truly amazing work on the markdown parser and render that I pulled into this release. He fixed tons of bugs, added way more features, and improved the perf quite a lot. Due to this – post will load faster and format way better than before. Many thanks to him for his great work!

Users are reporting that the app is faster and more stable, which is always good news.

The latest update is available on the Windows Store right now. If you want to grab it, head over to the following link.
