Microsoft is holding a number of Windows Phone 8 events in Europe and in the US also of course.
Now Gizmodo Australia reports that they have also been invited to an Australian event, which is of course on the 30th October, which would make it the same day as the 29th everywhere else.
The US event will be live streamed, but a local event at least indicates that Microsoft is paying attention to Australia, also evidenced by both Windows Phone 8 and Surface devices expected to arrive day and date with the rest of the world.
