ASUS takes on Surface Laptop with the new ZenBook S

At Computex 2018, ASUS today announced the new ZenBook S, a premium Ultrabook that will take on devices like Surface Laptop. The new ZenBook S comes with stunningly innovative design featuring an unique ErgoLift hinge that automatically tilts the keyboard by 5.5° for the ultimate typing comfort. This 13.3-inch display device weighs just 1Kg and it is just 12.9mm thick. The new ErgoLift hinge not only improves ergonomics but also improves cooling and audio performance.

ASUS has also focused more on the exterior design of this laptop. It will come in Deep Dive Blue and Rose Gold color scheme which ASUS claims as luxuriously stylish without being brash. For a discreetly indulgent finishing touch, they have added a gold keyboard backlight and lid logo.

ASUS ZenBook S is powered by up to 8th gen Intel Core i7 processors, 1TB SSD and 16GB RAM. Customers can also opt for an ultra-high-definition NanoEdge display which offers 100% sRGB color accuracy. For enhanced connectivity, Thunderbolt 3 support is there in two of its three USB-C ports. ASUS has partnered with Harman Kardon to produce the next generation of ASUS SonicMaster Premium audio technology for great audio experience.

The new ZenBook S will offer up to 13.5 hours battery life and supports Fast charging to recharge your device to 60% in 49 mins.

The best feature about this new ZenBook S is its durability features. It meets the ultra-demanding MIL-STD 810G military standard for reliability and durability.

Asus did not provide any details on the pricing, but this device will be available in June this year.
