ASUS ROG smartphone is coming to India later this year

ASUS officially unveiled its ROG smartphone at Computex 2018 earlier last month, but pricing and available in certain regions was not provided at the time. Thanks to the launch event of another phone today, we now know the ROG smartphone will be coming to India later this year.

As ASUS released the ZenFone 5Z in India on Wednesday, ASUS CEO Jerry Shen got a chance to talk to the media. When asked about the launch of the potential launch of the ROG phone in India, he confirmed the news by saying, “For sure, we will launch the ROG phone here in India. I cannot tell you the exact date, but it will arrive in Q3. It is already Q3, so we have three months to do so.”

Shen also revealed that the ROG phone would cost more than the ZenFone 5Z in India, though he did not specify an exact price. The ZenFone 5Z has a starting price tag of Rs 29,999 (about $435 USD).
