This video is a demo of the Glide UI on the Asus P565. It seems to take a lot of ideas from the now deprecated HTC Home plug-in, but with expanded functionality.
While the UI does look very well designed, the animations do not look very smooth at all, suggesting the UI does not take advantage of hardware acceleration. Of course the P565 has already proven its video prowess, so it may not actually be a problem at all.
So, what do our readers think. Is the Glide UI a worthy TouchFlo3D competitor or is it behind the times?
