Here’s one spectacular device we nearly missed from CES.

The  Designo Curve MX38VQ is a 37.5-inch  ultrawide (21:9 aspect ratio) IPS monitor with a 3840 x 1600 resolution and a 178 degree viewing angle.

It is near frameless with a simple and elegant design and metallic finish, and features a Qi charger at its base for your phone which lights up when charging.

The 2300R curvature means every point on the screen is equidistant to the viewer’s eyes, resulting in an immersive experience.

In addition it also features an 8-watt stereo speakers incorporating Harman Kardon and ASUS SonicMaster audio technologies.

It has display port and HDMI ports, but unfortunately not USB-C, which is a pity given the presence of the Qi charger.

FoneArena has had a hands-on with an earlier 34 inch version of the device, which can be seen below.

No availability and pricing has been announced yet.
