It takes a certain kind of person to appreciate the minimalist, “digitally authentic†user interface of Windows Phone 7, and it may turn out that kind of person tends to be better educated than average.
According to Alexa’s demographic data, smartphone users who read OS-specific blogs are not all the same.
Users who read Android blogs tend to have less tertiary education, and are relatively unlikely to have a graduate degree.
Interestingly the same holds true for those who frequent Mac websites, although slightly less so.
For the two main Windows Phone sites however, WMPoweruser.com and WPCentral.com, the readers are much less likely to have no college, and much more likely to have a graduate degree.
Unfortunately for our better educated readers, this does not translate into a better income, with Mac users still much more likely to be earning more than $100,000 per year.
I guess being smart does not necessarily translate into being rich 😉
