Apple has confirmed that it has an office in Seattle proper and according to their job listings they have openings for its new office. Recently, Google, Facebook, Twitter, Salesforce, Oracle, HP, eBay, and others have also started their engineering offices in Seattle region. This is the first time Apple is opening an engineering center outside of Cupertino in California.
They are looking for engineers to build their online services ranging from iCloud to iTunes.
We are looking for talented multidisciplinary engineers to design and develop the core infrastructure services and environments driving every online customer experience at Apple ranging from iCloud to iTunes. Successful candidates will solve distributed systems and performance challenges with hands-on competency in a variety of tools, languages, and algorithms.
