Apple launching HomePod in China later this week

As iPhone sales in China is declining more than expected, Apple is trying to make up for the lost revenue through other product launches. Apple today announced that HomePod will be available from January 18 in mainland China and Hong Kong markets in white and space gray.

HomePod is a smart wireless speaker that offers great audio quality for its size. HomePod comes with an Apple-designed woofer for deep, clean bass, a custom array of seven beamforming tweeters that provide high frequency acoustics with directional control and powerful technologies built right in. The voice control is supported by an array of six microphones, so everyone in the family can interact with it from across the room, even while loud music is playing. And with AirPlay 2, you can stream music and other audio content from any AirPlay-supported apps.

HomePod is already available in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Mexico and Spain.
