Apple is working on a Windows Migration Utility for the upcoming macOS Mojave update. The improved utility will allow users to transfer app accounts, contacts, documents, emails, and other third-party app data from Windows to Mac.
According to 9to5Mac, the older tool allowed users to transfer mostly local data like documents and pictures. However, the new beta version of the utility will allow users to transfer whole accounts from Windows to Mac.
The utility is still in beta but will make it to the final version of macOS Mojave. Apple will roll out the new update to the devices this fall mostly after its annual event. The new utility will allow a smooth transition from Windows to Mac.
