Apple has finally announced their 3rd 2018 iPhone, the iPhone XR.
The handset comes in white, black, blue, coral and aluminium and also Product Red, and has a 6.1-inch edge to edge “liquid retina” LCD display.
The device lacks 3D Touch, as has been rumoured, but does have Face ID like the other devices, and is also IP67 waterproof and powered by an A12 processor.
Unlike the other handsets it as a single 12-megapixel F1.8 camera, but this does come with optical image stabilization and an improved True Tone flash. Despite only having one camera it is also able to simulate bokeh and depth of field effects using AI.
The handset will also feature wireless charging, dual SIM support, LTE Advanced support, Wide Stereo support, 1080P 60 fps recording
The iPhone XR will be available in 64GB, 128GB and 256 GB, and will start at $749. The handset can be ordered starting on the 19th October and ship on the October 26.
