1)Have you developed Apps for any other platforms before? If Yes What are they?
I have developed a game for the Xbox 360 indie games platform which also uses the XNA framework. This is my first time writing an app for a phone.
2)Why did you choose WP7 as a platform of your choice?
I chose it because of the XNA platform. It is an extremely easy and intuitive game development platform with the plus of being able to run on PC, XBOX and WP7.
3)Which one do you think as the single most feature you liked in WP7?
I think that the development tools are my favourite feature. Having such tools is bound to lead to a lot of great apps being developed for the phone, and I am excited to see where that leads.
4)Are you satisfied with WP7 Platform development tools?
Absolutely! As I said above, they are my favourite part about the phone so far. Its hard to imagine having a faster pace of innovation that what these tools enable.
5)What are the Apps you are developing now in WP7?Details on the Apps?
Right now I am developing a game called Gumzoobo! for the phone. It’s a retro style platformer game in which the player must defend the zoo from robot invaders. It features loads of original pixel art and chip tunes which make it stylistically mimic games that we grew up on a decade ago. I think that it lends itself really well to the phone interface since it has simple controls but a lot of fun content.
6)In what way Microsoft can improve their WP7 or What does WP7 lacks from?
Right now, I think that all it needs is customers. I will be very happen once the marketplace passes 1 million subscribers.
7)Future Plans of you?
If Gumzoobo! is successful then I would love to continue doing game development for the phone. I am also planning on doing some small apps for my wife since they are so fast to develop.
Apart from these questions, Other things you want to share with the community?
Don’t be afraid to get your feet wet with Silverlight and XNA if you have already made apps for android or iPhone. I think you will be pleasantly surprised an how much you enjoy writing for both of these platforms.
