An Interview with WP7 Developer Faraz

1)Have you developed Apps for any other platforms before?If Yes What are they?

This is my first application on mobile platform, You can visit for Feedbook desktop client on Windows 7
2)Why did you choose WP7 as a platform of your choice?

WP7 seems great opportunity to port my current Feedbook application (which was build using .NET 3.5, WPF, LINQ to XML …) because it will enjoy being earliest application for RSS Reader, Twitter and Google Buzz.
3)Which one do you think as the single most feature you liked in WP7?

Well sorted User Interface. In development perspective Silverlight WP7 was excellent choice.
4)Are you satisfied with WP7 Platform development tools?

Not completely, there are issues in emulator which will hopefully sorted out in September release of WP7 SDK R2 i.e. emulator doesn’t render gradient background as it should be.
5)What are the Apps you are developing now in WP7?

Feedbook Phone 7(Find the video below)
6)In what way Microsoft can improve their WP7 or What does WP7 lacks from?

Multitasking should be available to third party apps, however a application certification can be use o govern or grant multitasking permission to apps
7)Future Plans of you?

An Android app is in pipeline.
Apart from these questions,Other things you want to share with the community?

Llook at Feedbook desktop client, It needs to improve a lot in performance but in terms of features it is quite rich.
