An Interview with makers of Bowling XX for WP7

1)Have you developed Apps for any other platforms before? If Yes What are they?

We have developed a Rhythm game called Bright Night on the iPhone platform.

2)Why did you choose WP7 as a platform of your choice?

We have experience on XNA game development and become developers on WP7 automatically.

3)Which one do you think as the single most feature you liked in WP7?

The back button is great. We can return to previous page in a very convenient way.

4)Are you satisfied with WP7 Platform development tools?

Yes, absolutely. They are easy to pick up for .NET developers.

5)What are the Apps you are developing now in WP7?Details on the Apps?

We are now developing a 3D 10-pin bowling game with realistic physics. It supports 2 different controls, local multiplayer up to 4 and global ranking. One of the bowling control, Swing, utilizes the accelerometer of WP7 which allows players to bowl as in real bowling.

6)In what way Microsoft can improve their WP7 or What does WP7 lacks from?

It will be great if we can further sell add-ons/items in our games.

7)Future Plans of you?

We are developing an action game which will be available on WP7 within this year. Also we are improving our in-house game engine for better production pipeline. Hopefully in the future we can develop games in shorter time with higher quality.

We look forward that more developers will participate in the community and develop high quality apps/games.
