1)Have you developed Apps for any other platforms before? If Yes What are they?
Yes, I’ve developed some small apps for Windows Mediacenter and some Windows WPF applications.
2)Why did you choose WP7 as a platform of your choice?
The mobile phone space is an interesting place at the moment, and the chance to be involved in a new platform from the start is exciting. Also developing using Microsoft tools already, it was a natural extension.
3)Which one do you think as the single most feature you liked in WP7?
The inclusion of Silverlight was a great way to get developers (especially non-professionals) into the platform.
4)Are you satisfied with WP7 Platform development tools?
So far, although the lack of native Panorama and Pivot controls so far is a rather large drawback for developers.
5)What are the Apps you are developing now in WP7?
Only one application, a mediacenter remote control. This will allow you to control your mediacenter using your phone, selecting recorded tv, music, movies etc right from the phone to playback on the large screen.
6)In what way Microsoft can improve their WP7 or What does WP7 lacks from?
So far it looks good. There are things that can be improved upon, like the inclusion of sockets which will make communication easier, and phone-2-phone direct communication. But these things can come later once the platform is laid.
7)Future Plans of you?
I don’t know. This is only a hobby for me, so I don’t really have any on going plans. Most of my applications come from something that I need, and it starts from there.
