An Amazon AWS outage is currently causing issues for much of the internet.

The issue, which has been ongoing for more than an hour, reportedly involves an impairment in the “Kinesis Data Streams API” in the US-EAST-1 Region. As a result, customers are not able to write or read data published to Kinesis streams.

Affected services, include Flickr, Adobe Spark, Roku, Spotify-owned Anchor, Glassdoor, iRobot, Getaround, and the New York City Transit Authority.

Amazon says they have identified the root cause and are working towards recovery of the issue.
