Amazon announces new Fire TV Stick 4K and the new Alexa Voice Remote with device control

Amazon today announced the new Fire TV Stick 4K, its most powerful streaming media stick along with an all-new Alexa Voice Remote. You can buy them together for just $49.99. The all-new Alexa Voice Remote can be purchased alone for $29.99.

The new Fire TV Stick 4K is over 80 percent more powerful than the current gen Fire TV Stick, thanks to its new quad core, 1.7GHz processor. And it comes with support for both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ titles. Just like any other Fire TV Stick, this new 4K version also gives you access to tens of thousands of channels, apps, and Alexa skills, as well as over 500,000 movies and TV episodes on Fire TV.

The new Alexa Voice Remote allows you to control your compatible TV and AV equipment, switch inputs, or tune to a channel on a cable box with a single remote. And it now comes with dedicated power, volume, and mute buttons, along with the ability to use voice commands to find and control content.
