WindowsPhoneItaly have posted this quick video overview of the ALK CoPilot Live Premium GPS Navigation app for Windows Phone 8.
The app features:
- Clear driving instructions in over 30 languages
- Quality of offline maps (provided by NAVTEQ) and a choice of views of maps in 2D or 3D
- Live services including ActiveTraffic, Google, Yelp and Wikipedia
- Safety camera alerts and speed limits
- Freemium and Premium versions available as packages for sale
As can be seen from the video (which has an Italian introduction but is in English) the app is clearly a direct port of the iPhone app, which does however make it a polished and mature product which is full featured.
The app should hit the market in 2 months and will come with a 3 month free trial.
