Alan Wake Remastered

Thanks to a new listing by the Brazil Advisory Rating Board, it appears that Remedy’s Alan Wake Remastered may also be coming to Nintendo Switch.

Alongside the already announced platforms of PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the Brazil Advisory Rating Board listing also points towards a release on Nintendo’s Switch system, however, this has not yet been confirmed.

In the announcement and following trailer, for Alan Wake Remastered, the Nintendo Switch has, so far, been absent as a platform. If a Nintendo Switch version is in the works, we’re not too sure why Remedy wouldn’t be boasting about it as it would be another brand new platform for Alan Wake.

Alan Wake Remastered marks the first time that the 2010 thriller will be available on PlayStation consoles. In the remaster, players will be able to enjoy the base game alongside its two expansions, which have all been remastered with 4K graphics, updated environments, and improved cutscenes.

If Alan Wake Remastered does come to the Nintendo Switch, it wouldn’t be Remedy’s first outing on the console, as last year they released Control via cloud streaming, which could also be an option for Alan Wake.

Alan Wake Remastered is currently due to launch on October 5th 2021.
