Sony announced plans in February to sell its VAIO PC business to Japan Industrial Partners. The new company will be called Vaio Corporation and it was launched today with new product announcements. Vaio Corporation will initially sell Vaio devices only in Japan. Today, they announced Vaio Pro 11 and Vaio Fit Windows laptops at an event in Japan. CEO Takayuki Sekitori said that his new company will maintain the VAIO DNA and attention to detail in the upcoming products.
