After nearly a year Endomondo finally looking to update their sports tracking app

Endomondo Sports tracker is one of the few cross-platform fitness apps in the Windows Phone Store.  Due to being somewhat of a niche we have seen apps come and go, as the Windows Phone population has not been large enough to justify the development time for what is often a small company.

Endomondo appeared to be one company at risk of doing that, as the last time they updated their Sports Tracker app was on the 27th April 2013, around 11 months ago, with some reviews complaining of issues with gaps in recording the full run.

Now it appears however that the company is looking for beta testers for a closed beta of a new version of the app. No information has been released regarding features, but at least the company is keeping up development of the software.

If you are an Endomondo user on Windows Phone you can apply for the beta at [email protected].
