Acer’s new Swift 7 still the world’s thinnest laptop, now with Intel LTE modem

Acer has updated its Swift 7 laptop, which they tout as the thinnest in the world, with new specs and features.

The laptop is only 8.98 mm thick but features a 7th gen Core i7 processor, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of PCIe SSD storage, a bigger 14-inch 1080P screen and now also includes an Intel LTE model for always connected LTE connectivity.

As with most electronics, you will pay for all that sleekness, with the laptop clocking in at a healthy $1,699.  Acer will be showing it off at CES 2018, with availability by March 2018.
