The Acer x960 is a rather more conventional device than its dual-faced brother. It features now standard specs for a high-end Windows Mobile smartphone, that being a VGA screen, Samsung S3C 6410 533 MHz prcessor, RAM 128 MB, 256 MB ROM, Bluetooth connectivity, a standard Wi-Fi b / g, with GPS chip with SiRF Star III, microSD memory card, 3.5G HSDPA connectivity, a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash and a secondary camera for video phone calls.
The styling is also conventional, but much more appealing than the DX650. Unfortunately the device is devoid of a 3.5 mm headphone jack, which is rather lamentable.
We should hear more about Acer’s smartphone haul at Mobile World Congress soon.
