Acer Announces Aspire R7 Star Trek Edition, Goes On Sale From June 14th

At Comutex, Acer announced a unique Windows 8 hybrid device called. Aspire R7. It has a special “Ezel Hinge” that moves the display forward and into different positions. Today Engadget reported that Acer is releasing a Star Trek edition of Aspire R7. Acer has manufactured just 25 of these special-edition convertibles, one of which it plans to offer up on eBay from June 14th through the 24th. All the proceedings will going to charity.
