The Fortnite hype train doesn’t appear to be stopping any time soon, and Microsoft is apparently planning on riding it all the way to the station and then beyond.
According to an article from WinFuture, the company is set to launch a Fortnite themed edition of the Xbox One S console. The console is a lovely deep purple gradient, with each half of the console being a different shade of purple.
The console comes with an indigo-violet controller which sports equally dark purple buttons. The image is fairly low quality, but it appears the markings on the buttons are a lighter purple, providing a lovely but legible contrast.
The console has 1TB of storage and, of course, Fortnite itself. It also comes with a new skin, which WinFuture says is called ‘Dark Vertex’, and 2000 V-Bucks, which is Fortnite’s in-game currency. The bundle also comes with a free one-month subscription for Xbox Live, EA Access, and Xbox Game Pass.
WinFuture says the console bundle will be available for sale ‘within the next few days and weeks’ in the US and Europe before coming to Germany. It should retail at around $299.
It’s important to note that this is not the all digital edition of the Xbox One S, meaning players can still use physical discs as they please.
