Strangely Microsoft did not say anything about turn by turn voice GPS navigation in Windows Phone 7, but fortunately the already released emulator confirms the feature is indeed included.
The voice is the familiar robotic one, but that is not too much of a problem. Even the local scout feature works in the emulator, which is pretty cool.

According to the YouTube post, SharpGIS says,
Messaging is not perfect when a turns comes up, but I think that’s because speed and heading is not transmitted by the emulator. Also this is only a beta of Mango and running on an emulator. I assume it’ll be better soon.
