Mozilla recently released the Firefox 69.0.2 update for all the users. The update fixed several issues for Firefox browser but it looks like it did introduce a new bug as well. With the new update installed, users have been complaining that Firefox can’t download files if Parental Controls are enabled.

Mozilla has acted accordingly and has paused the rollout of the new update. The company is investigating the issue and is recommending users not to install the new update. One user said that leaving the family group fixed the download problem. Mozilla later confirmed it as the official workaround to fix the problem.

Mozilla hasn’t released an official statement on the cause of the problem so we will have to wait for some time to get that information. In the meantime, make sure you don’t accidentally update Firefox to v69.0.2.
