After missing the release of a Windows 10 build last week, the Windows Insider team is back once again with new Windows 10 builds once again. This week, the company is releasing build 16251 for PCs and build 15235 for Mobile devices. As we are getting closer to the official release of the Fall Creators Update, we’ll only get minor improvements and fixes as part of the new builds for the time being. But once Microsoft kicks off the new “Skip Ahead” release process for the Windows Insider program, that should change as we’ll start getting features from the upcoming release (codenamed “Redstone 4”) even before the Fall Creators Update is released to the public.

As for build 16251, Microsoft has included some crucial bug fixes and improvements in the update. For example, there’s a new Phone section in the Settings app for those with an Android and iPhone device. By connecting your phone to your Windows 10 device, you can now do a lot of cool stuff specifically if you are on Android. With the Microsoft Apps app installed on Android, you can now open a web page from your mobile browser on your PC via the Share system in Android which is pretty neat. The build also includes some improvements to Cortana, along with the usual improvements to Microsoft Edge.

The real big news here is that the latest build of Windows 10 Mobile actually includes a new feature. Continuum for phones now has a new portrait mode which will be really useful for those with vertical monitor setups.

Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring can grab the latest improvements part of build 16251 on PCs and build 15235 on Mobile devices by heading over to Windows Update in the Settings app right now. ISOs and availability for the Slow Ring will likely be announced in the coming weeks.
