Microsoft today announced the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, which will be coming later this year. The update introduces a new design language called the Microsoft Fluent Design System (aka Project NEON) and a couple of other features such as clipboard syncing, and a new way of storytelling. Another major new feature that’s coming with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is the new Timeline feature that will make it easier for you to keep track of things you are working on.
The Timeline feature will essentially be a visual timeline of what apps you’re working on in your PC. For instance, if you were working on a personal project in Visual Studio Code, the Timeline feature will save that and show it to you whenever you open it up. From there, you can click on the item to open up Visual Studio Code and continue working on it whenever you want.
Timeline in Windows 10 is one of the newest features coming to the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update which utilizes the new Microsoft Fluent Desing System, as well as Microsoft’s Graph service.
