Windows 10 Build 14946 comes to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring

Microsoft has just released another new build of Windows 10 to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring. The company has been releasing a new build of Windows 10 every week for a little while now, and this week isn’t any different either. Today, the company is releasing build 14946. Don’t get too excited, though — the latest build of Windows 10 doesn’t introduce a lot of new features and it’s more of a minor update. With the latest update, Microsoft is adding the ability to customize the precision touchpad experience right from the Settings app — allowing users to set gestures to match their likings. The update also brings an improved Wi-Fi Settings page which adds a new setting called “Turn Wi-Fi back on” — this will basically enable the Wi-Fi after a set number of hours or a day.

As for Mobile devices, Microsoft has an exciting new feature in the update: the ability to use Continuum even when your phone’s display is locked. Previously, users weren’t able to use Continuum when their phone was locked — which is really quite annoying. Thankfully though, Microsoft finally lets you use Continuum without having to unlock your phone on build 14946 — and if you have a device that supports Continuum, make sure to give this feature a try.

Windows 10 Build 14946 also includes the usual bug fixes and minor improvements, but there are a couple of known issues, too. As usual, you can get the latest update from Windows Update on the Settings app.
