7 inch Windows Mobile tablet passes certification in China

The Windows Phones many are looking for are Cityman and Talkman, there are other slightly unique Windows Mobile devices coming up in the near future. We reported earlier on a 7 inch Windows Phone being tested in China – the Ramos Q7 – and today, the device has just been certified by  China’s TENAA.

What this means is that the device should be seeing a launch in the next future, perhaps in September with the launch of Windows 10 Mobile.

The expected specs of this device according to WBI are a 7-inch 720p screen, a Quad-core Snapdragon processor pared with 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and a middling pair of 5 and 2 MP cameras. No mention of battery capacity or external storage is made.

The Q7 will run Windows Mobile as opposed to big Windows which is now restricted to 8 inches and above and would be the first of its kind in the Windows Phone(Mobile) ecosystem, dwarfing the Lumia 1520 and it’s more compact successor.
