There has been a recent brouhaha brewing around 6tag’s potential for compromising the privacy and security of Instagram users who use the app to upload from their Windows Phones.
Rudy has now released version 184.108.40.206 of the app, which should address most of the issues, including encrypting the transfer of usernames and passwords via https and also using encrypted cookies.
The updated version of the 6tag can be found in the Windows Phone Store here.
