Origin PC announces top-of-the-line Omni desktop computer at CES 2016

Alongside the Chronos SFF, Origin PC at the ongoing CES trade show event in Las Vegas also announced an all-in-one desktop computer. The Miami-based company also announced an app that lets you control your PC from a smartphone.

Starting with the Origin Omni, the desktop computer is powered by an Intel Core i7 5960X processor, and offers up to 12GB Nvidia GeForce GTX TITAN X graphics card. Users can go up to 32GB of RAM. It supports professional level GPU and CPU overclocking.

Other features of the Origin Omni includes a stunning 34-inch QHD (3440×1440) curved display with an aspect ratio of 21:9. There’s an optional custom webcam and dual microphones. A user can house in up to two 2.5-inch hard-drive or SSDs.

To offset the heating, the Origin Omni comes with the Origin FrostByte sealed liquid-cooling system. As true with many other Origin PC products, you get lifetime tech support for free. You also fully upgrade to Mini-ITX platform.

The Omni will begin shipping in the first quarter of 2016. On the sidelines, the company also announced an app called Sentinel for Android, iOS and Windows systems. It can let you control and monitor your PC from within the app. Among the things you can keep a tab on include your CPU, hard disk, graphics processing unit and others.
