3 Italy delivers a dedicated World Cup 2014 app for Windows Phone

There are many advantages to living in a country with a high Windows Phone market share like Italy, such as a dedicated Sky TV app for example.

Another perk appears to be a dedicated World Cup 2014 app by carrier 3 Italia.

The app,  ‘Diretta Brasile 2014’,  was developer on conjunction with DataSport,  is designed to keep smartphone users up to date with the latest news about the month-long sporting event.

Apart from keeping track of the latest World Cup news, the app includes a Tweet VIP section to follow all tweets published on Twitter by the tournament’s leading protagonists, a Live section to follow matches in real time, a Table and Statistics section as well as a special section on the Italian national team.
