The 2019 nominees for The Game Awards have been announced

The Game Awards of 2019 are right around the corner, by which we mean the winners will be revealed live on Thursday, December 12th, and the nominees are in.

Both Control and Death Stranding dominate the nominees, appearing in almost every single category. Naturally, Nintendo have dominated the Best Family Game section.

Winners of The Game Awards are determined by a blended vote between the voting jury, who hold 90% of the vote, and public fan voting, who get the other 10%.

You can vote for your favourite nominees once every 24 hours on the official The Game Awards 2019 website and through Google Search Voting across all categories. Certain categories can also be voted in via Twitter DM and Discord.

Fan voting for The Game Awards 2019 closes on Wednesday, December 11th, at 6pm PST. You’ll find all the nominees below and you can head over to the The Game Awards website here to vote. Happy voting!
