In what was believed to be an impossible feat, due to the security features of Windows Phone 8, it seems the famous Dark Forces Team, headed by Cotulla, has managed to hack Microsoft’s latest mobile OS onto the venerable HTC HD2, the phone which is famous for having run every mobile OS every created.
The only proof for far is the screen shots, but the DFT are pretty trustworthy, making it likely the accomplishment is real.
Hopefully the hack will turn out to be real and extensible, and allow all Windows phone 7.x users who wish it to upgrade to Windows phone 8, despite Microsoft’s protestations that it is im possible.
