Earlier this month, Microsoft has announced that Windows 10 surpassed the 110 million installations mark. According to WinBeta, 120 million installations have been surpassed recently.

Achieving over 120 million installs in just 3 months is certainly remarkable. The number is expected to spike again as Windows 10 Mobile, the New Xbox One Experience and Windows 10 November Refresh for the desktop are all around the corner. The NXOE release date is slated for November 12, Windows 10 Mobile and November Refresh for desktop don’t have a specific date as of now.

Microsoft is aiming to achieve 1 billion installs in three years since the launch of Windows 10. As long as people keep upgrading to Windows 10 at the current pace, achieving this goal should be quite easy.
