Windows 10 Mobile may seem dead to some, but major app developers continue to roll out app updates for the platform, nevertheless.

Recently, WhatsApp has released a new version of its beta app for Windows 10 Mobile preview users, and the user interface has undergone a major overhaul. The app bar now matches the Windows 10 UI guidelines, and features such as voice recording for instant messages have been tucked into the app bar, as well. It also appears that the central messaging design follows after Microsoft’s People app, with the background syncing with the accent color by default and the all-capitalized, white contact names.

Although this app does bring about new user interface changes, some aspects of the app’s central core have remained the same, the most notable being the attachment picker (displayed above).
